How Invisalign works
1 Visit us and get to know us
Your initial appointment with Solas Orthodontics.
You’ll have an initial assessment our Perth orthodontic clinic to see whether Invisalign for Teens is right for aligning your smile. Your Specialist Orthodontist will be able to answer your questions about the process, including an estimate of the time required to get the results you’re after. There’s no obligation to proceed.
2 We take a 3D scan
Yep, we have state-of-the-art scanning technology.
Solas is home to the latest 3D digital scanning technology and in-house X-ray facilities to better know your smile and what it will look like after your Invisalign is all done.
3 Your new custom aligners arrive!
This is going to be awesome
Pick up your your first set of aligners, try them out with us to make sure you’re happy with the fit, comfort and process. They might feel a little weird at first… it passes pretty quick!
4 Wear and care for your aligners throughout the treatment.
Invisalign aligners are easy to remove (so selfies are no probs).
Wear and care for your aligners for 1-2 weeks, then replace them with your next Invisalign® aligner set. You’ll most likely revisit Solas Orthodontics every few weeks, with plenty of after-school appointments available.
5 See the ‘gramable results (and keep them with aftercare).
The whole process usually takes around 12-18 months.
