Your Initial Smile Consultation
Book your initial appointment with Solas Orthodontics.
During this appointment, Dr O’Connor and his team will establish your orthodontic profile and see whether LightForce braces will be right for your smile. Then, we’ll create your personalised treatment plan and make sure we answer all your questions.
Your Digital Scan
Forget uncomfortable tooth moulds and plaster impressions.
Scanning your teeth has never been easier with our iTero® scanner. It’s so comfortable and will only lasts for a few minutes. From there, we will be able to show you a full 3D scan of your teeth and send it to LightForce to start 3D-printing your customised brackets.

Each bracket has now been individually 3D printed and delivered to fit each of your teeth! Dr O’Connor and our team are now ready to put the braces on and make any adjustments required.
Keeping everything in check

Visit us every approx. 8 weeks for adjustments and to optimise treatment progression.

We look after you throughout and after treatment.
The full LightForce® braces treatment will usually take between 6 and 15 months. One you have the braces off, we provide 12 month after-care follow ups. You are now ready to enjoy your new smile and new life – perfectly aligned.
