1 Get to know us and the process
Book your initial appointment with Solas Orthodontics.
You’ll have an initial consultation with Dr O’Connor at our Perth orthodontic clinic to determine whether SPARK® Aligners will be suitable for your smile journey.
2 We take a 3D scan
Our scanning technology means no impressions are required.
Using the latest 3D digital scanning technology allows us to develop a customised treatment plan, see any underlying causes of alignment issues, and help you understand the process moving forward.
3 Precision tray delivered, the journey begins!
You’ll be smiling in no time.
For your convenience, SPARK® aligners can be delivered to your home or our practice. Check them for fit and feel, then start wearing them as directed (usually as often as possible, removing at meal times and for cleaning).!!
4 After-care to keep your brilliant results!
The process usually takes around 12-18 months.
Good things take time, but rest assured there will be that day when you get a smile-worthy compliment or catch your new look in the mirror. To ensure there is no shifting long term, we’ll provide you with a comfortable after-care retainer system.

What issues can SPARK® correct?
SPARK® clear aligners can help correct mild to moderate malocclusion (teeth alignment), and are especially effective in adjusting the ‘front 10’, the teeth you’ll see when you smile.
Is it ever too late to get SPARK®?
SPARK® can be used at any stage of adult life once the mouth is fully grown. Depending on the amount of movement required, sometimes SPARK might be offered as a hybrid treatment, following braces or other orthodontic treatments.

Will my health insurer cover SPARK®?
Medicare does not cover orthodontics but your private health policy might include orthodontics. You will need to confirm your cover with your insurance provider directly.
We work with all health insurers and offer HICAPS, which can reimburse your policy cover amount on the same day. If you have any specific query regarding your insurance cover please contact your health insurance directly.
