What a great pleasure it was to welcome the guests who joined us at the Solas Orthodontics Grand Opening Party. We were joined for the evening by Aussie/Perth Scorchers cricket legend, Brad Hogg, who did us the honour of being MC for the evening as well as cutting the commemorative ribbon!
There was some “gypsy jazz” also on offer with two members of Perth’s “Ensemble Formidable” at the ready to add some more spice to the party proceedings.
Catering was provided by our very own local “Ingredient Tree” serving up some incredibly sumptuous dishes!
Our Director and Specialist Orthodontist, Dr. Daniel O’Connor, explained the origins of Solas Orthodontics and its treatment philosophy. Inspired by his Irish roots, the practice’s name is a play on the English word ‘solace’ and the Gaelic word ‘Solas’ meaning comfort and light, to reflect our desire to provide life-changing treatment in a caring environment.
