Your Initial Consultation
Book your initial appointment with Solas Orthodontics.
During this appointment, Dr O’Connor and his team will assess your smile, discuss your orthodontic goals and determine whether LightForce Metal Braces are the right treatment option for you. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and understand what to expect from treatment.
Your 3D Digital Scan
Your journey begins with a 3D digital scan of your teeth and bite. This quick and comfortable process provides detailed information to help plan your personalised treatment.
Your Personalised Treatment Plan
Using your digital scan, Dr Daniel O’Connor creates a customised treatment plan that maps out your tooth movements from start to finish. Every stage of treatment is carefully planned before your braces are created.
Getting Your LightForce Braces
Your custom LightForce Metal Brackets are manufactured from your treatment plan and fitted with precision. Once bonded, your personalised orthodontic treatment begins with braces designed specifically for your smile.
Follow ups and After-care
Your LightForce Metal Braces treatment timeline will vary depending on your individual orthodontic needs. Throughout treatment, we’ll monitor your progress and make any adjustments needed to keep your smile journey on track.
Once your braces are removed, we provide 12 months of after-care follow-up appointments to help maintain your results and support your long-term smile health.
